Sandra Lee Romah - Independent Dance Instructor
Sandra Lee Romah was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. She is a graduate of Point Park University with a degree in Broadcast Television and a minor in Dance. Sandra was hired by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the summer of 2006.
For the past five seasons, she has worked as an on-air host, producer, writer and editor for the Steelers Television Network (Steelers TV, Steelers.com, and Steelers 24/7 On Demand). “The McDonalds Steelers KidZONE”, “Youth Football in Steelers Country”, and “Game Day Exclusive” are amongst her weekly televised shows. As a free-lance artist, Sandra worked as a producer alongside New Perspective in 2009 and co-hosted a live weekend sports talk show on Pittsburgh CW “Steelers Saturday Night” in 2007 and 2008.
Her passion for sports and entertainment stems from growing up with four brothers in a very sports oriented home. Ironically, for Sandra, her life revolved around dancing, musical theater, acting and the stage. She has been dancing since the age of two and teaching since the age of sixteen. Currently, she teaches at Point Park University and is most popular for her skills in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary Jazz, but she is also trained in ballet, tap, belly dancing and salsa. For the past six years she has performed in over a dozen shows for the New York City based RWS Associates Production Company. Her work has also been featured in the 2008 and 2009 Steelers Style Fashion Show, local high school dance teams, and the Pittsburgh Arts Festival. Being of Lebanese decent, Sandy has been a guest performer belly dancing in numerous state and national folk festivals.
Sandra says she is blessed to be working in her hometown, but is waiting for the opportunity to influence and entertain young people and sports fans all over the world.
