Originally from Indianapolis, Christina has lived or studied in Italy, Australia, California and Maine.
Artsy by nature, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History degrees from Denison University. After exhibiting her paintings for a few years, Christina relocated to New York City to work in advertising and marketing. She moved to Pittsburgh 19 years ago, where she met and married Rob Cochran, who you might know as the man behind the #1 Cochran automotive dealer group.
A mover and a shaker in her own right, Christina volunteers for The Aspinwall Riverfront Project. Recently, she co-chaired The British Invasion Party, which was named the #1 party in Pittsburgh in 2011 (are you sensing a theme here?). The event raised enough money and awareness for the group to purchase eight acres of land on the Allegheny River, which will soon house a community park.
When she’s not playing chauffeur to her five children, Christina also volunteers at their schools, as well as various other organizations.
And while she has no formal dance training, competitors beware, because Christina loves to dance. In fact, she’s often the first one on the dance floor and the last one off.
